(1)other:别的；不同的；其他的；other + 名词
He ran faster than other students.
(2) another:又一的；再一个的；另一个的；别的不同的；泛指三个或者三个以上的人或物中没有确定的另一个
another + 数字 + 名词 = 数字 + more + 名词
We had a party last month，and it was a lot of fun, so let''s have another one this month.
(3) the other:指已知的两个人或两事物中的另一个；the other 常常与 one 连用，具体形式为 one......the other

(4) others:泛指别的人或事务。others 可以单独使用，其意思与 "other + 名词" 相同。

比较：amazing 与amazed
be amazed at sth. 表示对某事感到惊奇.
这是一个令人惊叹的城市。
amazing 被修饰者为事或物, amazed 被修饰者是人,
意为“感到吃惊/惊奇的”在通常情况下，amazed
多用作表语，而amazing多用作定语。

区别:be famous as /for
be famous as 作为...而著名
be famous for 因...而著名
拓展：be famous to在...中著名; 为...所熟知
4. I can’t believe it.
I believe him, but I can’t believe in him.
比较：believe 和believe in sb.
believe 表示“相信”、“信以为真”之意，它是及物动词， 其后直接跟宾语。
believe in 则表示“信仰”、“信任”。其后的常用搭配语为:有关宗教、理论、原则、概念及可信任之人，为不及物动词
观察下面的句子：
I believe him. （=I believe what he says）
我相信他（的话）。
I believe in him.（=I trust him ）
我相信他是一个可以信得过的人。（即：我信任他）

小结：on one’s way to 意为 .
例如：
在我上学的路上
在我回家的路上
注意：one‘s要与主语的人称保持一致，后接地点副词here，there，home等时，to要省略。
拓展：in this way 用这种办法
