询问某人过去去某地的交通方式的句型结构为：“How did+主语+go（to）+地点？”。若表示地点的词为副词，则不用to。回答时可以用句型：“主语+went there+交通方式（by plane/by train/on foot 等）”。

by bike=ride one's bike 骑自行车
“by+交通工具”表示“乘坐某种交通工具”，交通工具前不加任何修饰词。“take/ride+a（n）the/one's+交通工具”，也可表示“乘坐某种交通工具”。
