Dear official,
I’m writing to apply to be a volunteer for the UN. In my opinion, the UN plays an vital role in solving international wars and conflicts. What’s more, the UN promotes friendly relationships among
nations, which helps people have a better understanding of each other. Besides, the UN has been operating various programmes to help people in need, which can transform people’s lives.
If I am luckily chosen to be a volunteer, I will try my best to increase people’s knowledge of the work of the UN. In addition, I will encourage more people to care for the work of the UN. Last but not least, I’ll put in all my efforts to make contributions to the world, making the world a better place to live in.
