Presentation
The advantages of the Internet:

The Internet is valuable for people to gather/look for information. With the Internet, up-to-date information is only a click away.
The Internet is the first source people turn to when they need information like weather forecast.
The Internet gives people an easy access to libraries and museums worldwide.
The Internet users can communicate with experts on all sorts of topics and read their articles.
The Internet helps us build social bonds. Young people from different backgrounds and cultures can form friendships on the Internet, which are based on common interests, rather than appearance or age and will last their entire lives.
With the Internet, disabled people who must stay at home can correspond with the outside world.
With the Internet, we can keep in touch with others wherever they are in the world.

Conclusion:For these reasons, I believe the Internet is a positive tool that helps make our lives better.

.

The disadvantages of the Internet :

The Internet has negative effects on our lives.
The main drawback of the Internet is that it provides information that hasn’t been evaluated for accuracy, thus making it difficult to judge whether the information found on the Internet is true and accurate.
Educators complain that students’ papers contain much false information collected on the Internet.
The Internet affects people’s private lives and transforms the way people spend their time. Some families spend their time apart because one or more members are using the computer, or are at an Internet cafe.
Some people claim that surfing the Internet is a waste of time, making the assumption that children spend too much time chatting and playing games instead of focusing on their school work.
People who spend too much time on the Internet/Heavy Internet users tend to withdraw from the people and the world round them.

Conclusion :I feel it important for us either to learn to limit our use of the Internet or learn how to handle the problems the Internet has caused.
