Fights at school sometimes happen. But how can you keep away from a fight? Here’s something you can do.
Be clam(冷静). Sometimes, you feel so angry that you really want to teach somebody a lesson. But being angry can’t solve problems. Neither can a fight. In stead, it may bring you more problems. In the school, everyone involved(卷人) in a fight will be punished, no matter who stared it. There are no winners in a fight.
Shout loudly. If you know someone is coming up behind you to attack, turn toward the person with your hands up in front of your body and loudly say “stop”, before walking away. Loud voice can usually make the attacker calm down. If the person doesn’t stop, cry for help by calling out the name of a teacher whose office is nearby.
▲ _Your friend may ask you to join in a fight. Learn to say no. Helping him fight is not really helpful to him. If you really want to give him a hand, try to ask him to give it up. Also, you can tell him if he gets involved in a fight, he may get hurt and he punished. Then, try to learn why he wants a fight and help him find a right way to deal with the problem.
( ) 6. From the second paragraph we can know _______.

Dear Kids Advice Magazine,
Hi, my name is Evan and being the eldest child in the family surely has its disadvantages. First of all my toys and games with my younger siblings, William and Julia. Of course, they don’t need to return the favour because I’m totally uninterested in their things. Besides that, Julia and William are always hanging around me. It’s especially annoying when I have a friend over. We look for a secluded place in the house where they can’t disturb(打扰) us, but within minutes, they will find us and ask to join in, I just can’t seem to get a moment’s peace. At meal times, I have to eat whatever is on my plate regardless of the portion size or taste. William and Julia only need to try one bite when it’s not their favorite food. Not only this, but I’m also expected to be cooperative(合作的,配合的)at all times because I’m the oldest and need to be a role model for them. It doesn’t seem fair either that I have more chores to do around the house than Julia and William. Plus, when it comes to practicing our musical instruments, I have to practice more than double the time. Oh, and the worst part of it all is the huge quantities of homework I get compared to them.

Yours truly,
Evan Smith

经典范文
How to deal with our stress
We all have some problems and stress in our lives. How should we solve them?
Firstly, we should take part in physical exercise. Sports can help us to have a healthier body and study better. Secondly, we need to talk with our teachers, parents and friends, and try to tell them our trouble. They may give us some useful advice. Thirdly, we can also listen to music and read books. It’s a good way to relax ourselves. Fourthly, we should try our best to study hard and learn to face our grades bravely. Fifthly, if we often have too much stress, we’d better see a doctor.
If you follow my advice above, I think you can deal with your stress successfully.

参考范文
Hello, everyone!
I am Li Hua. I’d like to talk about my problems and how I deal with them. I’m not tall and I am not good -looking. But I don’t care about these. I always believe in myself. My parents sometimes can’t understand what I do and say. I have few friends at school. So I often communicate with my classmates and I’m always friendly to them. I have too much pressure in study too and often have few after-school activities. So I often relax music. Sometimes I go shopping with my parents or friends. I thin kin this way, we can get better grades and enjoy the colorful life.
That’s all. Thank you.
