The two most important periods:

The 19th century
It is considered the bridge between the Middle Ages and modern history.
It started as a cultural movement in Italy and later spread to the rest of Europe.
The Renaissance
(14th to 17th century)

the thirst for the classical literature
the keen interest in life and human activities.

Field: art and science

Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519)
Leonardo da Vinci as observer and scientist
Leonardo da Vinci as inventor and engineer
Leonardo da Vinci as architect
da Vinci’s painting
(The Last Supper)
(The Vitruvian Man)
(Lady with an Ermine)
Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606–1669)
Nationality: Dutch

Style: Baroque (巴洛克)
Works: The Abduction of Europa, The Night Watch, etc.
