Nowadays, mobile payment is enjoying rapid development in China, which brings Chinese people various conveniences in their daily life. However, it also has a potential risk in financial security.
Several factors contribute to the popularity of mobile payment. First, compared with traditional payment, it frees people from exchanging money or carrying too much cash. Besides, the increasing coverage of mobile phone in China makes mobile payment accessible to more citizens. Last but not least, a variety of mobile payment services add to its attraction to a large extent.
Nevertheless, to ensure financial security, both individuals and the service providers should do their part. As for users, basic precautions are recommended. They may as well update their operating system on a regular basis and install protective apps in advance. As for service providers, they are expected to shoulder the responsibility of coming up with new ways to exploit mobile security holes.
All factors taken into consideration, we should take an objective attitude to mobile payment. Only when we make the most of its advantages can we lead a more convenient life!
