The coast north of Vancouver has some of the oldest and most beautiful forests in the world. It is so wet there that the trees are extremely tall, some measuring over 90 metres.

Calgary Stampede
Calgary is the largest city in the province of Alberta,Canada. It is located in the south of the province. In 1988, Calgary became the first Canadian city to host the Winter Olympic Games. People in Calgary like sports very much. If you visit Calgary in early July, you will experience the excitement of the Calgary Stampede, which is the largest competition event in Canada. Cowboys from all over the world come to compete in the Stampede. Many of them have a gift for riding wild horses and can win thousands of dollors in prizes.

Toronto is the biggest and most wealthy city in Canada. Travelers can go up the tall CN Tower and look across the lake. In the distance you can see the misty cloud that rises from the great Niagara Falls, which is on the south side of the lake. The water flows into the Niagara River and over the falls on its way to the sea. You can see the covered stadium, home of several famous basketball teams. There are three Chinatowns in Toronto. You can get good Cantonese food in a restaurant which is called The Pink Pearl. Because most of the Chinese people here come from South China, especially Hong Kong.
