In foreign countries many parents ask their little children to do housework when they are very young. Helping at home teaches children important life skills(生活技巧），such as doing laundry, cooking and cleaning. It also helps them to become(变成)better team players(更好的团队合作者）.
For young helpers, they can help sort(分类）the laundry.
Older children can learn how to wash, dry and fold(叠）laundry.
