There are more than 350 different kinds of sharks swimming in the oceans. Sharks are fish. Sharks have lived in Earth’s oceans for a very long time. Millions of years before there were sharks. There are small and large sharks in the oceans now. The smallest shark only grows to be about fifteen centimeters long. The whale shark can be eighteen meters long!
Unlike most bony fish, sharks don’t have bones inside their bodies. Instead, sharks’ bones are made of cartilage, like the end of your nose. Most fish have scales covering their bodies. There are lots of little teeth on the surfaces of sharks.

When the babies see the keepers, they run over to them with excitement and some of the young pandas even walk into their friends and fall over!
