At this festival, people usually go out after dinner and watch lanterns on the streets or in the parks. The lanterns look beautiful at night. They are in different colours and shapes. Sometimes there are fireworks at night. People like watching them very much.
At the Lantern Festival, people usually eat yuanxiao. It is a kind of glutinous rice（糯米） ball. It means family reunion and happiness.Thanksgiving Day(感恩节) is an important（重要的） holiday in the US. It is on the fourth Thursday of November. People usually get together with their families. They eat roast turkeys, pumpkin pies and sweetcorn. They like watching football games on TV. There is often a Thanksgiving Day parade. Thanksgiving Day is a great time for people to give thanks. Student often give thanks to their parents and teachers on this day.
