1. if意为“如果”，表示正面条件。如：
If you ask him, he will help you.
如果你向他请求，他会帮助你。2. if引导的条件状语从句有时可以与“祈使句 + and /or + 简单句”替换。如： If you work hard, you will pass the exam.

= Work hard, and you’ll pass the exam.
