There are many kinds of animals that live in the forest, such as mice, rabbits, squirrels, owls and hawks. Animals in the forest depend on one another for food.
Many small forest animals, such as mice, eat green plants for food, and then they, themselves, are eaten by larger animals. This is called a food chain.
E
A food chain begins with the Sun. The green plants in the forest use the Sun’s energy to make food for themselves. This process, or action, is called photosynthesis (光合作用).
Forest plants produce flowers and seeds that are eaten by mice and other animals.
The mice get their energy from the plants, and the mice become food for a larger animal, such as the hunting hawk. So, the energy from the Sun passes from the plants to the mice to the hawk. A break in any link of this food chain means that some animals may not have enough food to live.
( )42. When does photosynthesis take place?
A. When larger animals eat small animals.
B. When green plants use the sun’s energy to make food.
C. When forest animals eat the food made by green plants.
D. When the food chain is broken.
B
( )43. What is the first link in a food chain?
A. The Sun. B. The Earth.
C. Green plants. D. Forest animals.
A
( )44. Why do animals sometimes cannot find enough food?
A. Because it’s cloudy.
B. Because there is very little food in the forest.
C. Because photosynthesis stops.
D. Because there is a break in the food chain.
D
( )45. What does the food chain show about living things?
A. They depend upon each other.
B. Small animals eat as much as large animals.
C. Plants with flowers are the most important.
D. Plants are more than animals.

提示词:濒危动物 endangered animals; 采取行动做某事 take action to do sth.
要求:1. 60个词左右。标题已给出,不计入总词数内。2. 必须包括以上全部要点,可以适当发挥。
3. 条理清楚,语句通顺,意义连贯,书写规范。
Save the wild animals
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I think there are many endangered animals in the world, such as tigers and pandas. When farmers cut down trees, tigers can no longer hide or hunt. Many tigers are killed by people who want to sell their fur for money. And there are few places where pandas can live. We are not alone in the world. We human beings could not live without all the plants and animals around us.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
So protecting wild animals is very important. We must take action to keep plants from being destroyed and stop animals from being killed. If each of us can plant a tree and build a birdhouse, the world will be more and more beautiful. It is very easy but useful.
