一、教学内容:描述照片或图片中的活动情景。
二、设计理念
采用任务型教学,在设计本课时从激发和保持学生的学习兴趣入手,精心创设生活化语言情景,开展丰富多彩的活动,指导学生进行语言交流,感受用英语交流的乐趣和成功感,从而培养学生用英语进行交流的能力。
三、教材分析
本课的故事是讲述Daming在美国度过了一个有趣的周末,并把当时拍的几张照片寄给了Lingling。为了让Lingling 了解发生的事情,他给这些照片做了一些文字说明。
四、教学目标(Teaching objectives)
1、知识目标:
学习目标语句(Sentences):The sun is shing.
The birds are singing in the trees.
The ducks are eating our picnic.
能力目标:能口头运用The birds are singing in the trees.说明图片内容。
能识别单词shine, everyone,并能书写sun,sing。
3、情感目标:引导学生运用所学内容进行表达与交流,学以致用。

七、教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
Greetings
2.邀请一些学生表演上节课后的情景剧:We are going to have a nice weekend.教师同时板书学生进行的活动内容。For example:clean the blackboard, do homework, ride a bike, play football...
Step 2 The text presents and import
T: (教师快速画出一幅简笔画)Show the pictures of this unit1.Ask:
What am Idoing? Ss: You are drawing.
What are the birds doing? Ss: The birds are singing. (在图片下写出此句子)
3.What are the ducks doing? Ss: The ducks are swimming.(图片下也写出此句子)
T: Very good! Today let’s learn “Module3 Unit1 The sun is shining.”
【设计目的】让学生知道,学了本课以后,能试着给图片写出更多的文字说明。
Step 3 Text teaching
T: Play the tape (twice). Have students look and listen.
Ss: Underline the new words “sending, shining, singing”.
T: Explain the words and sentences.
Ss: Read and spell the words.
Step 4 Practice
T:Make sentences using “is / am / are / + ing”,for example:
I'm sending some photos.
The sun is shining.
The birds are singing in the trees.
【设计目的】让学生找出三个句子的共同点,师生一起总结归纳,用“is / am / are / + ing”的结构,表示正在发生的事情。
T: Explain"have a funny day", means"have a happy and interesting day", help the students understand the means of"funny".
Step 5 To complete the task
1.Look at pictures and talk about them.(针对本课重点结构“am/is/are+ -ing”朗读对话示例,然后小组活动)
2. Do the activities:AB unit 1,exercise 1,2.
3.Play a game:“猜声音”游戏。
