Introduction:
The Chinese character is one of the oldest and most widely used writing systems in the world. It has a history of five or six thousand years.

Character: 木 mu (tree)
Method: the Internet
Findings: It shows a trunk and two leafless
branches of a tree. The bottom half of
the character may be hanging
branches or the roots of a tree. The
character doubles to represent “forest ”
and triples to represent “dense forest.”
Conclusion: People in ancient China used
shapes or pictures to represent
different objects.
