Step 2. Presentation
1. Listen and answer
教师播放A部分录音，并提出问题：Where is the ruler? 学生听完之后回答。
设计意图：通过录音提出问题，培养学生倾听的能力。并引出本课重点句型“Where is the…?以及It’s on/in/under the ...”。
2. Listen and repeat
教师播放A部分录音，学生跟读。
设计意图：锻炼学生语音语调，培养学生口语表达的能力。
3. Language points
教师讲解询问物品位置的句型Where is…
设计意图：帮助学生归纳总结句型。
4. Look and say
教师呈现A部分图片，让学生观察图片并回答问题。

设计意图：通过问题的设置，培养学生观察图片，并理解图片的能力。同时巩固了核心句型。

教师任意点名并提问，Where is the...? 被点到名字的同学用It’s ... the ...句型回答教师问题。
设计意图：通过教师与学生的互动活动，帮助学生更好的掌握句型的使用。
2．Pair work
学生两人一组，进行问答。Where is the...? It’s ... the ...
设计意图：通过问答游戏，操练核心句型Where is the...? It’s ... the ...
3. Do exercise
教师使用活动练习，让学生观察图片，仿照例句进行口语练习。
设计意图：巩固句型的学习，考查学生口语的同时，拓展学生的词汇。
4. Find and guess
找一找猜一猜游戏
游戏说明：教师请一名学生来到讲台前，背对同学，教师告诉这名学生接下来要寻找这本书。下面请其中一名同学，将这本书放到别人的桌子上，之后背对同学的学生扭过来，并问：Where is the book? 之后在教室中走，并找那本书。所有同学一同回答：It’s on the desk.当找书的同学走的越近，那么学生一同回答的声音越大，直到这名同学将书找到。再换其他同学，再选其他一种文具，放到不同的方位，继续进行游戏。
设计意图：通过游戏，引导学生团结合作，激发学习兴趣。
