教学内容：Unit 1 How tall are you? (Part B Read and write)
教学目标：
1.学生能够正确听、说、认读单词:countryside,lower and lower,shadow等。
2.学生能够听懂、读懂并内化Read and write的内容，并能够通过阅读回答问题。
学生能够掌握良好的阅读策略，并能够提高自主学习能力。
学生能够增强与他人交往的能力。
教学重、难点：
重点：学生能够听懂、读懂并内化Read and write的内容，并掌握基本的阅读策略。
难点：能够提高阅读技巧，掌握基本阅读策略，并进行大胆思考。
教学准备：
自制课件；小鸭子和老树的图片；相关词、短语的词卡等。
教学过程：
Step 1 Pre-reading
1.以图片、音频、动画形式，欣赏有关春天的美景图片，感受春天的变化。
2.用句型“... is/are getting ...and ....”说一说春天的变化。
T:Spring is coming. The sky is getting clearer and clearer. The sun is getting brighter and brighter. Can you think of any other changes?
看一看，勾一勾。
教师呈现“Look and tick”部分的四张图片，完成勾选题。
引入Wu Yifan一家去乡村，他讲故事给Robin听。
T: I often fly kites in spring. What do you often do in spring?
T: So do Wu Yifan and his family. They are going to the countryside.Wu Yifan has a story to tell Robin.It is funny.Do you want to know? What is the story about?
(通过图片理解countryside的意思。)
Look and guess.
读前先看图猜一猜故事可能跟什么有关。T:Look at the picture and guess.What is the story about? S:Is it about ...? T:Maybe！
Step 2 Fast-reading
1.Read quickly and find.
快速浏览全文，找出故事的主角。
(1)T: Read quickly and find.Who are in the story?
S:Little Duck and Old Tree..
T:That’s right. So the picture helps us when we are reading.(教师在黑板上贴小鸭子和老树的图片。)
看图完成P9圈选题2。
Who is younger? A.The tree. B.The duck.
2.Read silently and underline.快速默读全文，划出答案关键词。
（1）Q:What are they talking about?
T:Little Duck and Old Tree are talking about something.What are they talking about? (教师在黑板上为小鸭子和老树画上对话框。)
Tips:1 minute. Underline the key words.(一分钟快速阅读。划出答案关键词。）
（2）解决shadow的音和义。
S：The sun and the shadow.
通过sheep,fish,window,slow,grow了解sh/ow发音，拼读出shadow。
为小鸭子和老树选择shadow，结合教师讲解理解shadow的意义。
Step 3 Careful-reading
1.仔细读第一段，找出现象。
（1）What’s the interesting phenomenon between the sun and the shadow?太阳和影子之间有趣的现象是什么？
（2）通过动画，教师讲解go down,lower and lower,longer and longer的意义。
2.仔细品读第2-3段，划出答案。
（1）Q: What’s Little Duck’s question?/What’s Old Tree’s answer?
Tips:2 minutes! Underline Little duck’s question with“ ”.Underline Old Tree’s answer with“﹋”.两分钟仔细品读第2、3段，用横线划出小鸭子的问题；用波浪线划出老树的回答。
（2）师生共同理解小鸭子的问句，教师板贴有关“小鸭子，老树，太阳，影子”的重点词。重点理解when的意思（当......的时候）。
（3）借助课件动画，教师讲解老树的回答，板贴教师板贴有关“小鸭子，老树，太阳，影子”的重点词。
（4）T:Can you answer Little Duck’s question? Chinese is OK.请学生发表自己的意见。
（5）通过Robin的回答，解释其中的科学道理。
2.为故事选择合适的标题。
Step 4 Read aloud
仔细听故事录音，感受语音、语调。
重点读三句难读句、重点句。注意其中的重读，连读等阅读技巧。
3.模仿录音，自己说一说这个故事。
（1）用第三方语气讲故事。
（2）用自己的感受生动地说一说这个故事。分角色读一读不同特点的老树和小鸭子。
Step 5 Post-reading
看着板书，一起试着说一说这个故事。
再读一遍故事，完成书本P9填空题。
拓展衍生，问学生What will happen to you?
升华情感“Enjoy growing! Enjoy changing! You are becoming better and better.”
Step 6 Homework
1.Tell the story to your friends and get stars. 为你的朋友讲故事，并请他评星。
2.Finish the exercises on workbook. 完成《课堂作业本》上相关练习。
3.Try to continue the story. 试着续说这个美丽的故事。
