动名词的用法
(1) 动名词的含义：
动名词是英语中动词的非谓语动词形式的一种，起名词的作用。在动名词短语中，动名词还保留动词的属性，如可以带有自己的宾语、状语等。
(2) 动名词的常见用法：
① 动名词（短语）作主语，可以直接位于句首作主语，也可用it作形式主语，将动名词（短语）（真正的主语）置于句尾作后置定语。
② 动名词（短语）可作宾语或表语。
Telling him not to worry is no use.
I like swimming.

ever since 连词短语，意为“自从”，相当于since，ever起强调作用，后跟表示时间点的单词、短语或句子（一般过去时），主句常用现在完成时。
I have known him ever since he was a child.
He has been a teacher ever since 2012.

belong to的用法
(1) belong to 意为“属于某（群）人”，其中to是介词，后接名词或代词作宾语。一般不用于进行时态以及被动语态。
The car belongs to the woman in red coat.
(2) belong to 后还可跟表示团队、时代、地域的名词，表示“是……的成员；来自（某个时代或某地）”。
She belongs to the school computer club.
(3) “物+belong to+人”可转换为“物+be+所有格或名词性物主代词”。
The house belongs to my uncle.
= The house is my uncle’s.
