教学目标:
能听、说、读、写形容词的比较级形式:younger older taller shorter longer。
能够正确运用上述单词描述人物的外貌特征。
能够运用句型 How tall are you? I’m …metres. I’m … than you.询问和描述自己和他人的身高。
能够调查同学的年龄和身高,并就调查结果进行分析比较并汇报。
在学习中,培养交流和合作的意识,教育学生营养均衡,不偏食。
教学重点、难点:
重点:掌握本课时的四会单词。
难点: 能够在真实的情境中运用含有形容词比较级的句型。

Preparation
1.教学:How tall are you? taller shorter
(1)出示姚明的图片:Look, who is he? What’s he like? 学生回答:He’s Yao Ming. He’s tall. T: Do you know how tall is he? Look! 接着出现2.26m,“Wow, he is 2.26 metres. 教学:point metres
(2) 出示Zhang Peng 的图片:Who is he? Guess ! How tall is he? 让学生用He’s … metres. 回答,教师用up and down来提示学生。
(3) T: Zhang Peng is 1.65 metres. I’m 1.61 metres. How tall are you? 引导学生回答:I’m … metres. T: Oh, I’m taller.或者I’m shorter.来比较。并板书 taller shorter 接着指一、两个组接龙:A:How tall are you?
B: I’m … metres. How tall are you?
C: I’m … metres.
(4) T: How tall are you? 学生回答后,I’m taller than you. 并板书。让两名学生到讲台前,另一个学生说:… is taller\shorter than …
(5) 出示姚明和刘翔的图片:Look at Yao Ming and Liu Xiang.

(6) 自编歌曲,用新年好的曲调。T: Let’s sing, OK? (新年好的伴奏)
2. 教学 older younger
(1) 唱完歌,T: You’re shorter than me. But you’re younger than me. I’m 38 years old. How old are you? 学生回答,T: I’m older. You’re shorter. 并板书。
(2) 出示Zhang Peng John 的图片,T:How old is Zhang Peng? How old is John? So, Zhang Peng is than John. John is than Zhang Peng. 接着出示一对父子T:Look at the father and the son. Who can say?
3. 教学 longer shorter
(1) 教师拿出一根皮筋:Look, I have a rubber band. I can make it longer. 板书 longer 然后学生齐读longer,皮筋越来越长。T: I can make it longer and longer. Who can make it shorter?指一个学生到台上来,学生齐读。板书 shorter
(2) 出示图片,T: Look at two rulers. Can you say? The yellow ruler is . The purple ruler is .
三、practice
1. Let’s chant
T: Now, have a rest. Let’s chant, OK? (自编歌谣)
学生有节奏的说唱歌谣。
2. Let’s talk
(1)出示Zhang Peng和John的图片:Zhang Peng and John are talking. What are they talking about? Let’s go and have a look. Listen carefully and fill in the blanks.
(2) 播放Let’s learn 视频。
(3) 指生填空。
(4) 分角色练习对话,师生、组组、生生练习。
3. 出示两段对话,让学生两人一组,任选一组进行对话表演。
T:Look at two dialogues. Choose one, two pairs, please.
练习完成后,找几组学生进行表演。
四、Consolidation?&?Extension
(1) Look write and read
出示一张图片,T:Look at the family. Fill in the blanks.Who can say?

(2) Do a survey and report.
T: Take out your paper. Do a survey like Sarah?
播放Sarah做调查的视频。学生四人一组,用How tall are you? How old are you? 问其他三人,并用… is _____ than …. 进行汇报。
学生调查完后,找学生代表进行汇报。
(3) 德育渗透
T:Today we learn taller shorter older younger longer. Do you want to grow taller and taller? How to grow taller? Let’s have a look. 学生看视频,了解How to grow taller?
五、Homework
读熟P5 四会单词。
写P5 四会单词四英一汉一默。
用How old are you? How tall are you?对家人进行调查,并做比较。
