be used to (doing) sth.
意为“习惯于（做）某事”，其中to是介词，后接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。
be used to do sth.
意为“被用来做某事”，是被动结构，其中to是不定式符号，后跟动词原形
used to do sth.
意为“过去常常做某事”，表示过去习惯性的动作或状态，但如今已不存在，其中to是不定式符号，后跟动词原形

(1) so + adj. / adv. + that从句

give up 意为“放弃；认输”，其后可接名词或动词-ing形式；
give up 是由“动词+副词”构成的短语动词，当代词作宾语时，应放在短
语的中间。
There is no help for it but give it up. 除了放弃之外别无他法。
