一、教学目标
1. 能够听说认读单词:
grandfather (grandpa), grandmother (grandma), father (dad), mother (mum), brother, sister
2. 能够在真实或模拟的情景中运用句型:

— Is he/she your …?
— Yes, he/she is.
/No, he she isn’t.

教学图片、教学课件、单词卡片、一个装有至少六个家庭成员单词卡片或图片的盒子等。
学生带家庭照片。
四、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Sing and review
师生间简单问答后呈现Part B的歌曲,师生一起朗读歌唱,活跃课堂气氛并复习上节课的内容。
T: Hello, boys and girls. Today we’ll continue to learn Unit 1. First, let’s read and sing a song to review what we learned last time.
设计意图:在歌唱中活跃课堂气氛,复习旧知。
Look and say
接着先后呈现本单元所学的六个家庭成员图片(grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, sister , brother单词图片),让学生说出相应的单词,并用This is my … 的句型说出相应的句子,为接下来的句型学习储备单词量。
T: We’ve learned six family words in this unit. Who are they? Please look at the pictures one by one and make sentences using the words and the sentence pattern “This is my …”.
设计意图:复习简单的句型,为新句型的学习奠定基础。
Step 2. Presentation
Look and learn
1. 复习之后课件先后呈现三组对话(Let’s talk),引导学生学习句型Is he/she your …? 及其肯定与否定答语,从而理解句意,感知对话内容。
T: Sarah and Amy are talking about Amy’s family. Let’s read the conversation and get to know who they are talking about.
2. 教师讲解询问远处人物身份的句型,复习总结该句型,同时讲解询问陌生人身份的句型,总结总结本课新句型。
T: Now let’s learn and summarize how to ask who a person is.
设计意图:引导学生学习句型,理解句意,感知对话内容。
Listen and follow
之后教师自行播放录音或动画,让学生听音跟读,感知语音,进一步熟悉对话。

设计意图:感知语音语调,进一步熟悉对话内容。
Step 3. Practice
Look and answer
先后呈现六张家庭成员的图片(grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, sister , brother单词图片)以及六个问句,让学生结合图片,做出正确的回答,从而操练词句。
T: Next, you will see six pictures and six questions. You should answer each question according to each picture.
设计意图:结合图片,巩固单词,操练句型。
Step 4. Consolidation
Ask and answer
学生两人一组,拿出事先带来的照片,就照片进行问答。可参考课件上的例句。
T: Please take out your family pictures. You will ask and answer in pairs according to your pictures.
设计意图:结合实际的照片,进一步进行句型操练。
Choose and guess
教师拿出事先准备好的装有家庭成员单词卡片或图片的盒子,请一个学生上台抽取任意一张,然后给出性别提示。随后班里其余的学生抢问猜测,问得最快最准确的学生得分。
T: Look! Here’s a box. There are some cards (or pictures) in it. One of you will come here to take one of them out and give you a hint using “This is a boy or man”, and so on. The rest of you can ask him using “Is he or she your …?” If you guess the right person, you will get one score.
设计意图:通过操作性比较强的活动,综合输出所学的知识。

翻译给出的句子,进行随堂检测。
