一、教学目标

2. 能够在实际情景中运用句型It’s + adj. 描述动物的外形。

1. 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读词汇。
2. 对不同单词意思的记忆，尤其注意反义词之间对应关系的区分。

四、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Look, say and translate
逐一呈现上一单元所学单词，让学生说出看见的单词，并翻译成中文。
T: Before we start our new lesson, let’s play a game. You should say the English words you see and translate it into Chinese.
设计意图：通过游戏的方式复习有关家庭成员的词汇，进一步巩固上一单元所学单词。
2. Ask and answer
教师出示上一单元的单词卡片，请学生两人一组运用句Who’s that man / woman? He’s /She’s my … Is he /she your …? Yes, he / she is. / No, he / she isn’t. 进行问答练习，从而复习上一单元所学单词和句型。
T: Well done! Now let’s look at the pictures. You can do it in pairs and review what we learned last unit.
设计意图：通过对话的方式活跃课堂气氛，从而复习上一单元所学单词和句型。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Look, listen and learn
T: Now let’s start to learn some new words of feature. The first one is tall.
(1) 教师出示tall的单词卡片和音频，让学生跟读并感知单词的意思。
(2) 教师出示short的单词卡片和音频，让学生跟读并感知单词的意思。
(3) 教师出示fat的单词卡片和音频，让学生跟读并感知单词的意思。
(4) 教师出示thin的单词卡片和音频，让学生跟读并感知单词的意思。
设计意图：利用图文及音频相结合的方式，讲授本课重点单词，帮助学生牢记。同时引导学生注意反义词，扩展知识储备。
2. Let’s read
呈现四个单词，全班一起读、分组读、个人读。
T: Now let’s read the words together and then in groups, at last individually.
设计意图：通过不同方式的朗读，帮助学生再次练习巩固单词的发音。
3. Listen and follow
播放Let’s learn 部分的录音，让学生听音跟读。
T: Now you’ve got to listen and follow. Pay much attention to the pronunciation.
设计意图：引导学生通过看、听、说等途径来感知并巩固本课时的重点词汇。
Step 3. Practice
1. Do exercise
教师使用词汇互动练习，学生根据给出的单词，选择正确的图片。
设计意图：通过游戏的形式，考查学生对词汇的掌握。
2. Let’s do
教师播放课本P25 Let’s do的音频，让学生边看书边听音。第二次播放录音，让学生跟读跟做。
T: First let’s listen to the chant. Then listen again and follow it.
设计意图：通过看、听、说、做等途径来巩固重点词汇，并活跃课堂气氛。
3. Look and say
教师呈现一张动物园的图片，学生观察动物园里的动物，说出里面的动物，并根据所给出的参考词汇，用It’s (so)…进行描述。
设计意图：复习巩固本课的重点词汇和句型。
4. Test
T: Now it’s time for you to take a test to check how you’ve learned.
完成随堂检测。
