一、教学目标
1.能听、说、认读单词和词组fell、off、mule、could、till、Turpan和Labour Day。
2.能理解Let's talk并能理解句子“What happened?” “Are you all right?” “I'm OK now.” “Where did you go?” “It looks like a mule!” “Did you go to Turpan?” “Yes, we did.”。
二、教学重点、难点
在实际情境中灵活运用句型“Where did you go?” “I went to...”。
三、教学准备
单词卡片、教学光盘和多媒体课件。
教学过程
Step 1:Review&Lead in(复习&导入)
1.教师利用图片和学生一起唱歌谣,要求一边唱一边做动作。例如:
What did you do? I slept.
What did you do? I danced.
What did you do? I took a picture.
What did you do? I climbed a mountain.
【设计意图】以说唱歌谣的形式来导入新课,激发了学生的学习兴趣,也为学习新知识做铺垫。
2.教师出示一张医院的图片,进行师生对话,导入新课。
T: Did you go to hospital before?
Ss: Yes.
T: What happened?
S1: I had a bad cold.
S2: ...
Step 2:Presentation&Practice(新课呈现&当堂操练)
1.教师让学生读Let's try部分的问题,播放录音,学生完成题目。最后核对答案。
2. 教师让学生带着问题“What happened to John last Saturday? What did they talk about later? ”观看Let's talk动画,然后回答问题。教师播放动画,学生回答问题:John fell off his bike last Saturday and hurt his foot. They talked about the Labour Day holiday later. 教师利用图片帮助学生理解短语fell off;教师结合日历,让学生理解Labour Day holiday的概念。
3.教师继续提问学生“Where did John go over his Labour Day holiday?What did he do there?”,要求学生带着问题观看动画,并在课件上呈现关键信息。
4.教师出示一张新疆的风景照,说“Look at this picture.This is a picture of Xinjiang. I went to Xinjiang two years ago.”,教师再拿出一张公园的照片,说“This is a park. I went to the park last weekend.”。
5.教师根据PPT中的句子,解释“Where did he go over his holiday?”“What did he do?”的用法。
6.教师播放录音,学生跟读。(mule、Turpan、could及till为新词,教师需解释其意思,并注意学生的发音)
7.教师播放课文录音,学生逐句跟读。提醒学生在跟读的过程中注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。
8.学生分角色朗读对话,然后分小组展示。
Step 3:Consolidation&Extension(巩固&拓展)
1.小组活动
俩人一组,进行对话,谈论假期活动。例如:
A: Where did you go over this Labour Day holiday?
B: I ...
A: Did you...?
B: Yes, I did./No, I didn't.
2.学生以My holiday为题,试着描述一下自己假期中曾经去过的一个地方。
Step 4:Summary(小结)
本课我们重点学习了用句型“Where did you go?”“What did you do?”询问别人在过去的时间去了哪里,做了什么。

1.亮点:本部分为对话教学。通过多媒体展示动画,让学生带着问题去观看,由此理解对话大意。对文中关键单词和句型进行点拨,帮助学生理解。分小组对话和描述自己假日的任务,让学生活学活用。
2.不足之处:对新疆的相关信息拓展不够。
3.教学建议:给学生布置任务,搜集关于新疆的信息,下一节课进行分享,有能力的同学也可以做一张关于新疆的海报。
