【Warm up】
Where’s the Nurse Office?
Teacher shows the teaching materials “【口语训练】Where’s the Nurse’s Office? 对话练习 ” on the screen and asks students to listen to the recording to answer what the contents of the recording are, and then encourages students to share their ideas in class.
T: Good morning/afternoon, class. Today we are going to learn the third period. At the beginning of our class, let’s listen to the recording in the flash and I hope you try to get the point in the flash.
设计意图:通过动画引入复习Part A Let’s talk部分的相关句型:Where’s the …? Is this …?。
【Presentation】
1. Teacher shows the pictures in Let’s do and asks students to guess what each picture shows. Then teacher encourages students to share their ideas in class. Teacher help students to understand each picture.
T: I will show you some pictures on the screen and I want you to guess what each picture shows and you could share your ideas with your deskmates.
设计意图:图片导入,激发学生的想象力,同时巩固练习学校设施的表达方式。
2. Teacher asks students to make dialogues according to the pictures. For example,
A: What are you going to do?
B: I’m going to go to the library.
A: What are you doing there?
B: Read a book.
3. Teacher encourages students to present their dialogues in class.
设计意图:通过对话练习巩固所学知识,同时帮助学生练习语言表达能力。
4. Teacher plays the recording in Let’s spell and asks students to focus on the letters in different colors. Then teacher shows the teaching materials “【知识解析】字母组合er在单词中发短音[?]” on the screen and help students to grasp the key points of the pronunciation of “er”.

5. Teacher shows these three groups of words on the screen and asks students to underline the letter with the pronunciation of [?] and then teacher shows the answers on the screen.
