一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、认读本课时的四个单词horses、cows、hens和sheep。
2. 了解可数名词和不可数名词。
二、教学重点、难点
掌握单词sheep、hen、cow和horse及其复数形式。

单词卡片、教学光盘和多媒体课件。
教学过程
Step 1:Review&Lead in(复习&导入)
1. 教师播放歌曲“Mary has a little lamb”,学生跟唱。
2. 教师手拿动物图片并提问“I love animals very much. Do you love animals?What animals do you know?”,学生回答并说一说自己知道的动物。
Step 2:Presentation&Practice(新课呈现&当堂操练)
1. 教师出示horse和hen两个单词,教学这两个单词。教师示范描述这两种动物:
Look at the horses. They are tall and strong. They have long tails.
Look at the hens. They are fat. They make eggs. They cluck.
2. 教师描述另一种动物:
They're white and black. They're big and strong. We drink their milk. What are they?
课件呈现奶牛图片及单词 cow,引导学生拼读单词。
3. 教师呈现一只绵羊图片,说“This is a sheep.”。教师呈现多只绵羊,问“What are these?”,学生可能回答“They are sheeps.”,教师及时指正“No, they are sheep, not sheeps.”,教授sheep。
4. 课件呈现单词farm、cow、hen、horse和sheep,并领读单词。
5. 教师呈现动物图片,学生集体说单词。
接着采用抢答的形式,描述动物:These are ... They're so ...!
Step 3:Consolidation&Extension(巩固&拓展)
1. Draw and say
(1)学生打开教材,在空的农场里设计自己的农场,让学生画一画。
介绍自己的农场。例如:
A: This is my farm.
B: It's big. Are these/those cows?
A: Yes, they are.
(2)小组内成员对话,介绍农场,然后分小组展示。
2. 根据本课时的单词和图片提示编写对话。例如:
(1)A: I have a farm. I have many animals.
B: Are they cows?
A: Yes, they are./No, they aren't. They are ________.
B: How many ... do you have?
A: I have________.
B: What are these?
A: ...
(2)分组创编对话,然后全班展示。
Step 4:Summary(小结)
本课我们重点学习了四种动物名称sheep、hen、cow和horse及其复数形式;练习句型“These are ... They're ...”。
Step 5:Test(当堂微测)
选出每组中不同类的一项。
