【Warm up】
1. Teacher shows the flash about the words of the facilities in the first four periods for students.
T: Let’s review the words in the first four periods.
设计意图:复习本单元重点词汇,为接下来的读写练习奠定基础。
【Presentation】
2. Make dialogues
Deal with Look, ask and answer by making dialogues.
T: What could you see in this picture in Part Look, ask and answer on page 8? Could you guess what they are talking about?
Teacher asks students to make dialogues according to the picture. Then teacher encourages several pairs to show their dialogues in class.
设计意图:通过对话练习复习上节课的重点句型。
3. Read and write
T: I want you to read these sentences and try to explain the meaning of them.
Do you have a library? Yes. The library is on the second floor.
Do you have an art room? Yes. The art room is next to the gym.
Where is the teacher’s office? The teachers’ office is next to the library.
Where is Classroom 1? Classroom 1 is under the teachers’ office.
Then teacher shows the Chinese meaning for students.
设计意图:老师帮助学生理解句子的意思,为后面的练习做准备。
4. Teacher asks students to read those sentences again and fill in the table. Then teacher encourages several students to share their answers in class and teacher offers help for the correction.
设计意图:进行相应的练习,帮助学生分析问题解答问题,培养学生的理性思维。
【Practice】
5. Teacher shows the picture of library for students and explains the meaning of this sentence.
T: The first picture shows the library in our school. Do you know the meaning of the sentence-This is the library?
设计意图:图片导入本部分的练习,帮助学生理解,加深印象。
6. Teacher shows the pictures of playground, teachers’ office, computer room, music room, art room and gym for students and then asks them to compose sentences like the example.
T: I want you to write some sentences according to the pictures and then to share your sentences with your partners.
设计意图:展示图片,让学生根据图片仿写句子,复习本单元重点词汇。
