第1课时
一、教学目标
1. 学生能够在具体语境中理解It’s time for …中介词for的用法，能准确运用到实际交流中。
2. 学生能够在图片的帮助下，理解对话大意，能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
3. 学生能够在具体的情景中，运用核心句型 What time is it? It’s … o’clock. 询问时间并回答；能够运用 It’s time for …描述即将要做的事情。
4. 学生在课堂交流中，注意倾听，积极思考，主动参与。
5. 学生能够了解不同时区的不同时刻，并能通过世界地图感知各国、各城市的时差。

1. 学生能够运用核心句型进行对话交流。
2. 学生能够理解 It’s time for …的含义，并准确应用到实际交流中。

1. 学生能够在语境中理解新词的意思，并能正确读出新词汇。

挂图，地球仪，钟表，教学课件，课堂检测题。
五、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Let’s sing
播放歌曲Tick Tock Time，之后 Review the numbers from 1 to 12，让学生说出英文。
设计意图：歌曲创设轻松愉悦的氛围。
2. 根据课件里的钟表Let the students say the time.引导学生说出7:00等时间。
Step 2. Presentation
1. 播放视频，初步感知What time is it?句型，引入新知识。
复习完数字后，用学生熟悉的时钟自然、直观地呈现新词o’clock.教师板书第一种询问时间的句型，及其答语。询问时间：What time is it? 回答： It’s + 数字 + o’clock(整点). It’s + 数字(非整点).
设计意图：从上面的环节自然过渡呈现新对话，让学生带着问题看视频，初步理解对话大意。
2. 呈现一张钟表的图片（学生可以根据自己学校放学的时间呈现不同的时间表达。）
T: Look, what time is it now?
T: It’s 3 o’clock. School is over.
点击出现学校放学的图片。学生理解句意。（如果可能，最好用自己学校门口放学的图片）
T: School is over. Where are John and Wu Yifan? Listen to the dialogue and choose the picture.
播放本课时的动画课件，完成两幅场景图的二选一。
设计意图：从语境中提炼新词、新句型，进行学习。
3. 呈现课文图片，教师进行讲解。
a. T: School is over. They go to the playground and play basketball. Look at the picture. Can you guess what time it is now?
呈现John和Wu Yi fan在打篮球的图。
What time is it? It’s 5 o’clock.
(学生学习新句子)
b. T: Look at the school guard. He is calling the kids. What time is it?
出示句子 It’s 6 o’clock. It’s time for dinner.学习新词dinner及新句型：It’s time for + 名词（短语）.
教师总结描述即将要做的事情的句型：It’s time for... 学生学习新句型。
设计意图：看课文内容，听录音，学习新句型。
Step 3. Practice
1. Read the dialogue in groups. (四人一组)
Ask some groups to read.
2.教师使用动画It's time for cartoon，进行对话练习，巩固学生对新句型的掌握。
设计意图：分角色朗读课文，内化语言知识。
2. Play a choosing game. (出示句子和图片)
学生读句子，选择正确的图片。（逐层递进三组句子）
设计意图：借助游戏巩固核心句型。
Step 4. Production
1. Let’s play
(1)教师适当介绍有关时差的知识，拓展学生课外知识。
设计意图：小阅读引入时差概念，小组合作提高了学生的语言综合运用能力。
(2) Pair work
两人一组，模仿书中的对话进行问答，之后找两组学生展示。
设计意图：小组合作提高了学生的语言综合运用能力。根据提示编演新的对话，完成语言的输出。
2. Group work
以小组为单位，创设情景：假设放学后你想和朋友一起出去玩，模仿书中的对话，和小组同学创编新的对话。
如：S1: School is over. Let’s go to …
S2 / 3: OK.
S2: What time is it?
S3: It’s … o’clock.
S1: It’s time to / for …
S2 / 3: Let’s go home.
…
小组合作三分钟左右后，进行展示。
设计意图：检测学生对核心句型的理解和运用。
3. Test
选择合适的句子完成对话，将序号写入括号内。
