is not the same in all cultures
In China and some other countries, friends

教材分析：
本节课的课文内容是属于冀教版八年级下册英语第七单元的第四篇课文。本单元主要围绕“Know Our World”这个话题展开的。本节课是一篇阅读文章，主要涉及不同国家的肢体语言的介绍，肢体语言，也出现在我们交流的日常生活当中。这一话题又紧密联系着我们实际生活。
在讲授新课之前由一个肢体语言的视频引入，联系实际生活中，相关的肢体语言的图片帮助学生更好理解常见的肢体语言都有哪些及含义。课上教师利用多媒体视频图片等引导，学生个人思考与小组合作的形式进行探究与学习不同地方的不同的肢体语言,并让学生用英语简单介绍这些肢体语言。本节在培养学生的兴趣与理解归纳能力的过程中占重要地位，在本单元的联系实际生活的教学活动中起了重要作用。
学情分析:
八年级学生有创新能力,有思想，也有压力。我先分析一下我所教的班级的学生，女生较多，英语他们的英语水平参差不齐。大部分孩子们已具有一定的英语听说读写技能，在课堂教学中，教师应结合他们已有的英语语言基础，并且对肢体语言都有一定理解和应用，引导他们联系实际生活，积极参与课堂语言实践活动,发展综合语言运用能力。
