1．A family tree
（1）To see the relationship between different people and Linda and learn new words: Husband, wife, parent, child, uncle, aunt, cousin, grandfather and grandmother.
（2）Look at the Whites’ family tree and fill in the blanks

2．Appearance
（1）Brain storming: Can you recall some words to describe a person like short?
（2）To see a table of appearance and learn new words: Dark, slim, fair, pretty, good-looking and cute.
（3）Make up dialogues: How can we describe a person? If I want to know your father’s appearance, what can I say? And how can you answer? To use the sentence pattern and word bank to make up dialogues with your partners.

（1）Match the pictures and the jobs and learn new words: Manager, engineer, artist and secretary.

To use all the new words we have learnt to make up a dialogue with your partners about your family including the number of your family members, their appearance and their jobs.

3．Take a photo of your family with you next time and prepare for the family introduction.
