难点:能够运用本模块所学的知识谈论失物招领。

Step I Warming-up
1. T ask Ss to guess what’s in the lost and found box.
2. T shows the pictures and asks Ss to say what they are.
3. T ask Ss to pick out sentences with possessive pronouns in Unit 1 and Unit 2.
设计意图:复习前两个单元的重点句型,为下面的活动做准备。
Step II Presentation
Language practice
1. T helps Ss to find out the grammar rules by reading sentences with possessive pronouns in Unit 1 and Unit 2.
2. T explains the definition of possessive pronoun and its classification.
3. T helps Ss to summarize the usage of nominal possessive pronouns and compare it with adjectival possessive pronouns.
设计意图:用图示法和表格法对比讲解名词性物主代词和形容词性物主代词,帮助学生明确二者区别。
Step III Practice
Grammar Exercises
T shows some exercises from the senior high school entrance examination and lets Ss finish them. Then check the answers in the whole class.
设计意图:通过让学生看近年中考题巩固名词性物主代词的知识点,在体验中考题型的过程中加深对该语法点的理解。
Activity 1
1. T asks Ss to look at the pictures in Activity 1.
2. Ss match the words in the box with the right items below in Activity 1.
3. Ss read through the sentences.

S2: —No, it’s not mine. It’s his.
4. Ss ask and answer the questions in pairs.
设计意图:通过结对对话练习加深学生对语法的理解,并检验学生对这一难点的掌握情况。
Activity 2, 3
1. T asks Ss to match the words from Box A with the words from Box B in Activity 3.
2. T asks Ss to check with a partner.
3. T calls back the answers from the whole class.
4.Tasks Ss to read the words in the box in Activity 2.
5. Ss read through the sentences and complete the sentences with the correct form of the words from the box.
6. T asks Ss to check with a partner.
7. T checks the answers.
设计意图:通过练习巩固所学语法。
Step IV Production
1. Play a game. T divides Ss into several groups and tells them to put their things like erasers, pens, or watches together into one bag.
2. Student A takes one thing out of the bag, asking student B “Is this your…? / Whose ... is this?”. Student B gives the answer like “Yes, It’s mine. /No, it’s ...”
3. Then student B takes another thing out of the bag, asking student C the same question. After answering the question, student C continues to ask student D until the last student is asked.
4. Finally, T asks two groups to the front to give a performance to the class.
设计意图:继续巩固本单元词汇用法。
Step V Summary

Ss: Grammar focus—possessive pronouns
设计意图:带领学生梳理所学知识,方便学生课后巩固复习。

Step Ⅰ Warming-up
1. T asks Ss to do exercises to review.
2. T asks Ss to talk about the two questions with their partners.

设计意图:复习名词性物主代词的用法,为后面的练习及模块任务做准备。通过讨论多种失物招领方式,引入新课。
Step II Presentation
1. Ask Ss to look at the picture and discuss what they can see.
2. Read through the passage with the whole class.
3. Ss read the passage again and finish the true or false questions.
4. T and Ss check the answers together.

Step III Practice
1. Ss read the sentences first. Then rewrite these sentences.
2. Ss check answers with their partners.

Step IV Production
1. T asks Ss to make conversations in pairs. One S thinks of three or four things he/she has lost or choose from the box. Describe them. The other S thinks of five or six thing they have got in their lost and found office or choose from the box. Describe them.
2. Now ask and answer questions.
Student A: Ask Student B if they’ve got the things you have lost. Answer questions about details.
Student B: Answer questions about the things Student A has lost. Ask questions about details.
3. Act out your sketch to the class.
Perform the sketch.
Watch other Ss’ sketches and make a list of the things they have found.
