Unit 11 Weather
【第一课时】
Lesson 1
【学习目标】
1. 结合导入图片，学习并识记描述天气的新单词：rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy等；掌握用于询问天气的常用句式和表达方式，如What’s the weather like today/ tomorrow? 等。
2. 对照故事插图，听懂、读懂故事内容；学习一般将来时的用法，用“be going to do+ 活动”造句。
3. 结合录音，正确、熟练地朗读课文故事。
【学习重难点】
1. 根据天气图片，学习并识记表示天气的单词rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy等；掌握询问天气时常用的句式，如What’s the weather like today/ tomorrow?等。
2. 对照故事插图，听懂、读懂故事内容；学习一般将来时的用法，用“be going to do+ 活动”造句。
3. 结合录音，正确且熟练地朗读课文故事。
【知识探究】
一、导学：
1. 师生之间用英语做简单问候，What day is it today? Today is Monday. What do you do after school?
2. 简单讨论一下今明两天的天气状况。
二、知识构建：
1. Get ready
（1）根据图片判断天气，然后参与谈论自己喜欢的天气；
（2）随后学习形容天气的英文单词rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowy, windy，最后将单词和图片进行匹配；
2. 学习整篇课文。
（1）仔细观察插图，根据每幅插图中的地点和人物猜一猜故事内容；
（2）回顾刚刚学到的新单词，继续学习本课其他单词weather, farm, rain, warm等，然后比一比谁能在课文中找到并划出最多有关天气的单词weather, sunny, cloud, rain, cloudy；
（3）学习句式
学习句式1：What is the weather like today? ——It is sunny today.
学习句式2：What are you going to do? ——I’m going to ride horses.
（4）仔细听录音两遍，逐句学习并试着翻译每个句子，然后比赛讲故事；
（5）最后跟着老师通读一遍课文。
4. 根据故事内容，回答问题：
（1）What is the weather like today?
（2）What are Ken and his families going to do?
（3）Do the children enjoy the activity?
5. 五人一组，分角色朗读课文内容；
