教材简析 Module 5 Cartoons.围绕“卡通故事”为话题展开教和学。各单元围绕这个主题设计安排了听说读写活动。文章及练习内容均取自于学生的日常生活,实际性强。学生们会因为此话题的实用性而感兴趣,故能在学中用,用中学,印象深刻。 主要内容为运用三种时态,来描述所喜爱的卡通片,包括自己喜爱的卡通片 人物和介绍自己喜爱卡通片的人物和原因。从全书来看,本模块承接上一模块对现在完成时的学习和运用,着重三种时态的使用区别,让同学们根据文章来理解运用。U nit 1 是大明和托尼的对话,两人谈论做完作业后该看什么卡通片。从对话中可以看出两人有不同的爱好。但是,最终两人达成一致,观看《猫和老鼠》。在教学中,要要求学生不仅能够听懂对话,能够提取信息,还能模仿对话,介绍自己喜欢的卡通人物。
教学目标 知识目标 :1.词汇: 能理解、内化、运用以下生 词:cartoon,handsome,smart, fight,cool,hero,can’t help doing sth, laugh 2.功能: 能够运用所学句子谈论并掌握 表达自己最喜欢的卡通故事及人物等。能力目标 1.能够识别对话中提及的卡通 故事和人物;能够识别说话人 对卡通故事和人物的态度。 2.能够询问并回答有关卡通故 事和人物的信息。情感目标 能够就卡通故事或卡通人物进 行交流尊重他人的态度,倾听 他人的不同意见。 通过卡通故事了解不同国家的 文化。
教学重难点 1.重点:识别对话中提及的卡通故 事和人物;以及说话人对卡通故事 和人物的态度。 2.难点:如何正确而又流利地 询问并回答有关卡通故事和 人物的信息。

Step1.Warming-up:1.Greeting:Hello,boys and girls. How are you today ? 2.Free talk. Meet yang Kai and talk about his favouite cartoon.(learn the words :character, main character, hero ) 3.Talk about the heros. (learn and say the words:handsome,Cute, smart, humorous, cool, brave,Funny,..) Hello,Mr Yang.I’m fine and how are you ? Look and say with Mr Yang. Look and match.Look and describe the heros. 互致问候,使学生们快速进入到英语的语言环境。 (设计意图:学生自由谈话,在谈话中引出课题,出示图片介绍新词汇,为进一步学习活动2、3扫除障碍,又能活跃课堂气氛。)
Step2.Lead in:1、Show the three questions and explain them with the Ss. 2、Have students ask and answer in pairs.3、Play the recording twice for the students to listen and find out Betty”s and Tony’s answers to the questions. Look at the screen repeat new words after teacher.Say the new words as quickly as they can. 用学过的单词引出新单词,并用课文中的句子进行学习。
Step 3.Text learning:1、Play the video of the conversation, ask the students to find out the answer to the question : What cartoon do Daming and Simon watch at last? 2、Repeat the conversation one sentence one by one.(Twice )3、Students read the conversation fluently together.4.Finish True (T) or False (F) exercises.1. Tony watched Superman yesterday.2. Tony thinks Superman is better than Spiderman.3. Spiderman can fly and fight bad people.4. Tony and Daming both like Tom and Jerry. Look and understand the main idea of the conversation. Repeat after the recording.Read and imitate 1.Show the sentences and explain them with the Ss.2.Read and finish the True or False exercises in pairs.3.Check the answers with Mr. 播放Flash让同学们带着任务进行看、听、读的练习,回答几个简单问题,熟悉课文大意。用配音的方式纠正学生拖腔拖调问题。 解答习题,从文本中获得简单信息。
Step4.Practice:1.Read and answer the questions. (1)What does Tony think about Spiderman ?(2)Why does Daming think Superman is better ?(3)Why do they both like Tom and Jerry ?(4)What lesson can Tony learn from Tom and Jerry ?2、Work in pairs,.Describe your favourite cartoon character.(Show the pictures of Nezha, Micey Mouse, Pleasant Goat, Snow White as a help.) Read the sentences and guess the words which are covered.Talk about the sentence in groups of four. Then match the sentences on the screen. 1、让学生用课文中的句子来回答,进一步深化对对话的理解。 2、限定范围描述卡通角色,活用本课所学词汇及句型。
