导入新课 Lead-in Show students a short video about the TV show “America’s Got Talent”. Lead in the main idea of this unit. T: Today we’ll learn our first lesson. We’ll talk about different abilities. Find out what the TV show is and what it is about. Let students to think about what they can do in our life.
讲授新课 Step 1 Presentation Show students two short videos.T: Do you know who they are and what they can do? Help students to find out Who these famous people are and their abilities. T: Now, you know Sun Yang can swim and Cai Xukun can sing. Do you know any other abilities? Then show students some pictures about abilities and lead them to learn different abilities one by one.Play a game.Let students practice the new words by finding out the missing pictures and say the abilities as quickly as they can. Finish Activity 1a.Ask students to look at the picture carefully.T: What clubs can you see in the picture? Ss: They are art club, English club, chess club, swimming club and music club. T:Right. Now match the clubs with the abilities. Show time Help students learn to talk about abilities by teaching the key sentences.“I want to join ...; Can you ...?
