一、教材分析
本课是冀教版六年级上册第三单元第一课,主要介绍有关四季的词汇winter, spring, summer, autumn和四季的不同特征。通过描述四季的不同特征,讨论不同季节所穿戴不同的服装。学生重点掌握四季的特征及穿戴。
二、学情分析:
六年级的学生通过三年的学习已经积累了一定的词汇、句型和语法知识。有了自己的主张和想法,有了一定的自主学习的能力。对于谈论季节是他们比较熟悉的话题,有一定的生活经验,为本课的学习做好铺垫。
三、教学目标:
1知识目标:能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:season, spring, summer, autumn, winter.
2能力目标:能认读、理解并运用下列句子:Winter, spring, summer and autumn are seasons.
Winter is cold. There is ice and snow. In winter, I put on my hat, scarf and winter coat.
In spring, I take off my winter clothes.
3情感目标:通过本课的学习让学生充分认识大自然,并热爱大自然。
4学习策略目标:
养成朗读课文和听录音的习惯,在贴近生活的对话交流中是学生养成用英语交流的习惯,积极与同学合作,互相学习,共同进步。
四、教学重难点
1、掌握四会单词 winter, spring, summer, autumn and season.
2、正确使用单词和语法对四季的不同特征进行描述。
3、能根据提示把自己表达的句子写下来。

六、教学过程
StepI. Warming-up &Revision
1. Greetings.
T: Hello. Boys and girls. Are you ready for English?
-What’s the date today? –Ss: It’s September 27th.
There are 12 months in a year, I divide 12 months into four groups.
We call them--- seasons!!
December, January and February make up winter.
March, April and May make up spring.
June, July and august make up summer.
September, October and November make up autumn.

Step II. Presentation & Practice
1. winter / spring / summer / autumn
1) Show the pictures of autumn
T: Today is September 27th, it’s in autumn!
How’s the weather today? How do you feel?
What can you see in this season?
What happens to the trees in this season?
Listen to the tape and get the key words.(结合图片)
(当学生说出秋天的气候特点,出示关键词并贴在黑板上。
通过图片让学生理解”leaves turn red and yellow”.
(设计意图:从学生的实际生活入手,先观察学习现在的季节,再引入文本更易于学生了解本季节的特征。)
2)It’s cool in autumn, so I put on my trousers and sweater.
What do you often wear in autumn?
(通过课件的动画效果演示put on,并让学生练习使用。)
3) T: After autumn, the weather gets colder and colder. Which season is coming?
Winter is coming. This is winter. Let’s try to talk about winter.
How’s the weather in winter? What can you see in winter?
Listen to the tape and get the key words.(结合图片)
(当学生说出冬天的气候特点,出示关键词并贴在黑板上。)
It’s very cold, so I put on my winter coat, my scarf and hat.
What do you often wear in winter?
(通过课件的动画效果演示put on,并让学生练习使用。)
4)Listen, who is singing?- Birds are singing.(播放音频)
T: Which seasons is coming?
Ss:Spring!
Listen to the tape and get the key words.
This is spring. Spring is _______ and ________.
There are new __________ and _________.
然后出示文本让学生大声朗读。
It’s warm in spring, so I take off my winter coat, my scarf and hat.
I put on my blouse.
What do you often wear in spring?
(通过课件的动画效果演示take off 和put on,并让学生练习使用。)
5)T: Next season is my favourite, do you know what is it?
Ss: Summer!
Show the picture of summer.
(学生根据提示的问题小组讨论自主学习夏季,抓住夏季的气候特点并进行拓展扩充。)
It’s very very hot, so I put on my shorts and T-shirt.
(设计意图:通过对前三个季节的学习教师再放手让学生自主讨论学习夏季的季节特点。)
6)Read
Listen to the tape of part1 and repeat.
7)Try to describe the seasons.

(设计意图:进行语言的输出练习,掌握四季的特点。)
2、Different clothes for different seasons
1) 在前面季节的学习过程中已经渗透了不同季节的着装。出示Jenny不同季节的图片,让学生自主选择,播放音频,What does Jenny wear in different seasons?
1) Listen and repeat part2.
(设计意图:通过课文进一步巩固学生重点句型的掌握和使用。)
Step III. Consolidation & Extension
1.Group work
We’ve learned four seasons of the year. Winter, spring, summer and autumn.
Finish the mind map in groups and talk about four seasons, then write down.
What season is it?
What can you see in this season?
What do you wear in this season?
(小组合作利用贴图来展示季节特色和服装,并写出完整的句子。)
(设计意图:这一活动为学生创设了独立运用新授语言知识的机会,可以充分运用本课的词汇、短语进行综合性的语言操练,不仅能有效地将前后两部分内容结合起来也是对以前所学语句地复习运用,也体现了学生从学说到自己会说、并且能够会写出来,这是一个很棒的过程。)
2.Homework:
1. 根据学习目标要求进行课后巩固复习。
2. 绘制季节的思维导图,可以加入食物、饮品等方面内容。
3. 以“My favourite season”为题写一个小作文。
