Analysis of materials 本节课是新目标七年级下册第7单元第一课时，整个课时主要是学习询问天气情况的表达方式，以及学习表天气特征的形容词，是一堂听说课。围绕天气展开听说读的活动，通过本课的学习，使学生掌握基本词汇和对天气的描绘，学会表达不同天气的不同活动，使学生积极运用目标语言，并运用于实际生活。
Analysis of students 七年级的学生已经有了一定的英语基础能够进行简单的对话。在课堂教学中注重兴趣的培养。创设情境，让学生积极有效参与，为学生提供充分的自主学习和合作学习的环境，使学生在活动中相互影响，促进了语言实际应用，同时关注学生情感，帮助他们树立自信，展现学生个性。

Step1.Revision 1. Greet the class as usual;2.Revise the present pro- gressiveShow some pictures which are covered. Ask Ss to guess: What are they doing? What's she/ he doing? Try to use the present progressi- ve to answer teacher’s questions. 通过复习现在进行时态及问题的设计为新课导入做好铺垫，并激活学生已学的知识。.
