Once upon a time, there was a very old man. There were two mountains near his house. They were so big and high that it took a long way to walk to the other side.

The old man told his family that they should all helped him to move the mountains.

Yu Gong said they could put them into the
sea because it’s big enough to hold
everything.

Once upon a time, there were no rivers or lakes on the earth, but only the East Sea. There were four dragons living in it. They were the Long Dragon, the Yellow Dragon, the Black Dragon and the Pearl Dragon.

But the Jade Emperor wanted to catch them, so the four dragons ran away and decided to turn themselves into four rivers. And they are China's four great rivers—the Heilongjiang(the Black Dragon) in the north, the Huanghe(the Yellow Dragon) in the center of China, the Changjiang(the Long Dragon) in the south, and the Zhujiang(the Pearl Dragon) in the very far south.
