由听唱活动引入学习话题。
Presentation and practice
Game time：快速读出出现的单词，看到炸弹要说“bomb嘭”
Ask and answer：呈现上个单元的月份卡片，然后进行问答， 复习已学单词和句型。 为下面新知识做铺垫。
Lead-in：Amy and John are looking at the school calendar.通过他们的对话， There are some special things in April. What are they我们一起去学习吧。
呈现第一张卡片，观察卡片内容， 引出1st 是first的简写， 讲解单词first，April 1st，的读音， 读法， 纠正发音，然后呈现卡片中的活动swimming contest.
再次呈现卡片，然后根据卡片补全对话， 巩固句型， 注意：具体在某一天用on。
类似方法学习单词second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)和节日单词，通过图片， 音频，视频，对话 等帮助学生记忆。
Good to know：基数词和序数词， 依次呈现基数词， 序数词， 简写， 观察得出： 简写形式都是对应的数字+序数词末尾两个字母，Tips: 序数词是数词的一种，在汉语中表示为“第几”。此外，描述日期时，也会用到序数词。
Game time： 踢足球， 选择一个号码， 提出足球， 大声读出出现的单词。
Listen, number and match， 先听音给汉字标序， 然后呈现单词， 完成中英文连线， 巩固音形意。
播放learn部分动画， 学生跟读， 并模仿语音语调。
听音频跟读learn部分句子。巩固句型。
Language point： When is the sports meet这是询问时间， 一般回答可以说具体的某一天， 也可以说在某个时间段。在一段长时间， 用in, 比如in May； 在具体的某一天， 用on, 比如 on May 1st。附加： 巧记时间介词in 和on口诀。
Ask and answer：播放动画， 听音模仿对话， 注意语音语调。
呈现其中一个对话， 听音频， 补全对话， 巩固句型。
呈现其他图片， 两人一组根据图片进行自由问答
Game time： 点兵点将
1. 老师准备一些卡片，上面写出一些活动或节日日期， 比如 。
2. 六位同学上台， 每人抽取一张卡片， 不给其他人看。
3. 任意同学选择PPT上呈现的节日进行提问： When is the school trip
拿到school trip的同学必须站出来回答： It’s on ...
