设计说明
由la中游览动物园场景开始,呈现一些常见动物的名词及描述性的形容词;听力环节上指导学生读懂听力要求, 让学生在听的过程中能更有针对性;在模仿lc对话的基础上进一步拓展任务,任务的设计贴近学生生活实际,做到有趣、实用、易于操作,目的在于让学生积极参与。通过pair work,group work谈论他们想要看的动物,教师可给出适当的指导,鼓励学生表达自己对动物的喜好并给出原因。
教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:panda, zoo, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe, animal, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful。
(2)掌握句型:一Let's see...
—Why do you want to see. . . ?

(3)运用英语谈论、描述动物,表达自己对动物的喜爱。

(1)学会运用let、祈使句、why引导的特殊疑问句及 because引导的原因状语从句。
(2)用英语谈论、描述动物,会熟练运用形容词描述性质、品质,表达自己对动物的喜爱。

Step 1 Warming up & Leading in
T:Good morning, boys and girls! Look at the screen and listen. Let's enjoy the song Old Macdonald had a farm. How many kinds of animals are there on Macdonald's farm?
Ss: Seven.
T: Which animals have the "moo" sound?
Ss: Cows.
T: Do you like animals?
Ss: Yes!
T:So do I. Can you say the names of some animals?
Ss: Yes. Dog, cat, lion, fish, tiger...
T: You are all very clever. This lesson, let's see more animals in the zoo.
Step 2 Presentation
T: Look at the pictures. They are animals.(板书新单词 animal) What animal is it in picture 1?
Ss:It’s a panda.
T: Do you like pandas?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: Why do you like pandas?
S1: Because they are beautiful.
T: Yes,they are beautiful and they are cute.

Step 3 Practice
1.Guessing game.
Ask one student to imitate some animals, and other students guess what animals they are.
2.Look at the words in la. Match them with the animals in the picture.

Ss: “稍微,有点儿”.
T:Yes. “Kind of" means “a little".“Very" means “really". Can you remember? Please make a sentence with “kind of”.

(3)形容词的用法:
形容词在句中作表语,置于连系动词之后。

本课时听说活动由小游戏“它是什么动物?”展开,让学生巩固所学词汇和句型;再通过听力训练对描述性形容词进行进一步巩固,然后通过合作、讨论等环节学会如何在真实情景下运用描述性形容词;这些活动的开展有利于为学生创设自主学习空间,让他们有机会去交流和实践所学的语言材料,有效调动和保持学习兴趣。
