设计说明
本课时以周末活动为主线,运用一般过去时谈论上个周末的活动。通过la匹配周末活动和相对应的图片引出 “What did you do last weekend?” 句型,同时也学习一些重点短语;lb的听力继续以周末活动为话题进行谈论;lc是基于听力内容的口语操练活动。本课时可创设多种机会让学生在讨论周末活动的过程中多说英语、展示自我、张扬个性、体验快乐。
教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:camp, lake, beach, badminton。
(2)掌握句型:What did... do last weekend?及其答语。
2.能力目标:
(1)学会运用一般过去时询问上个周末所做的事情。
(2)训练学生运用所学词汇及句型相互交流上个周末发生的事情。
3.情感目标:
了解别人的周末活动,调整自己的活动安排,做到劳逸结合,使自己的周末充实而快乐。
重点难点
1.重点:
(1)本课时所学词汇。
(2)—般过去时,尤其是what引导的一般过去时的特殊疑问句。
2 .难点:
不规则动词的过去式和what引导的一般过去时的特殊疑问句。
教学准备
1.搜集描述周末活动的图片,以及湖泊、海滩、羽毛球的图片。
2.准备多媒体课件、录音机和磁带。

Step 1 Warming up & Leading in
1.Talk freely like this:
T:Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls. What day is it today?
Ss:It’s Monday.
T: What day was yesterday?
Ss:It was Sunday.
T: Good. I usually clean my room on Sunday. What do you usually do?
S1:I usually do my homework.
T:I cleaned my room last Sunday. What did you do?

2.Present the new words and phrases.

Step 2 Practice
1.Ask the students to practice reading the new phrases in 1a:did my homework, went to the cinema, went boating, camped by the lake, went to the beach , played badminton.
2.T: Please look at the pictures in 1a. What did Lucy do last weekend?

3.Sum up.
what意为“什么”,用来询问事情或物品,通常用名词或动词(短语)作答;who意为“谁”,通常用来提问表示人的名词或代词;where意为“(在)哪里”,用来询问地点,通常用表示地点的介词短语作答。在谓语动词为实义动词的一般过去时态的特殊疑问句中,一般要借助助动词did,而句子中的实义动词(即谓语动词)要用原形。但who问句要区别对待:当who在句子中作主语时,不需要借助助动词did,而直接用实义动词的过去式,如:Who visited her grandma?当who在句子中作宾语时,则和其他问句一样,要借助助动词did。如:Who did you talk with?

(4)surprise 的用法:

②作动词,意为“使 惊奇/惊讶”。surprise的形容词形式为surprising(令人惊奇的), surprised(吃惊的)。

They were surprised to hear the surprising news about me but I didn’t want to surprise them.(surprise)

(5)英语中的感官动词,如see,hear,feel等,后面可以接doing,作宾语补足语,表示“看见/听见/觉得某人或某物正在做某事”。

wake up还可作不及物动词短语,意为“醒来”。
