Where’s the bird?“在树上”的不同含义
本单元学习了方位介词：on, in, under, behind。同学们也掌握了on表示“在……上面”；in表示“在……里面”。可是有些同学会产生疑问：为什么小鸟在树上用in the tree，而不用on the tree呢？下面就为大家讲讲in the tree与on the tree的区别：in the tree 一般指外来的东西在树上，不是树本
身所有，如人、动物等在树上。
例如：There is a bird in the tree. 树上有一只鸟。
A cat is in the tree. 一只猫在树上。
Jack is in the tree. He can’t get down.
杰克在树上，他下不来了。on the tree 通常指树本身长出的东西，如枝、
叶、花、果等。
例如：There are many apples on the tree.
