I was waiting for the bus when…all of sudden… it began to rain heavily. It was like… really crazy rainstorm! I thought I had an umbrella in my school bag, so I kept trying to look for it. I was so busy looking for the umbrella that I didn't see a car coming. And it got water all over me! I was waiting like that… completely wet… for maybe almost an hour. Finally the bus came and brought me home. I took a hot shower and ate some warm food. It felt so good to be home!

一般来说, begin to do和begin doing可以互换, 但在以下

② 当begin后的动词是表示心理活动的词,如 know, think等。
