2. How to deal with the problems?
3.Will Eliza become an upper class lady?
四、话题议写
[写一写]
以约100个词就Eliza解决语言问题写一篇短文,要点包括:
(1)Eliza 存在哪些语言困难?
(2)Eliza 将如何解决?
(3)Eliza 最终会变成一名上流社会的名媛吗?
We can infer from the passage that Eliza had trouble in pronunciation, grammar and use of appropriate language. And lessons can help her deal with these problems by learning the rules; practice repeating words till correct; and learn socially safe topics to discuss.
In order to improve her pronunciation, she practices phrases and sentences repeatedly. She tries hard to do what Higgins wants, and day after day, her English sounds better and better. Also she learns to memorize and recite some grammar rules; therefore, her spoken language becomes more fluent and authentic. Finally, she learns how to walk and behave in upper class social parties. Higgins’s encouragement and her diligence lead her to final success.
I think Eliza’s progress is great because she learns so quickly. She picks up new pronunciation very fast. In other words, she has the chance to be an upper class lady.
