1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本节课是新目标英语七年级下册第8单元section B部分第二课时阅读。本单元的话题为居住的社区,语言功能为:问路和指路。通过本课时的学习,在阅读技能上,学生能通过快速阅读、细节阅读正确获取文本中三个关于居住的社区环境状况的信息;在情感态度上,学生能认识到学习英语的目的在于交流和能将所学语言运用到真实的语境中给他人提供帮助。根据《英语新课程标准》,本人主要运用任务型教学法和情景交际法,并采用多媒体课件进行教学。 按照任务型教学的基本理念,课堂任务的设计选择贴近学生实际生活的内容,提供符合真实生活的学习情景,通过自主、合作、探究培养学生主动学习英语的兴趣、自学能力、合作能力。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析:本部分是在SectionA的基础上进一步拓展话题,同样围绕邻里社区的各种设施和场所位置,让学生通过各种活动,了解如何利用英语问路和指路,最后学会用英文描述自己的街坊邻里,本课时2a-2c是阅读教学部分,这一部分图文并茂,展现了三个学生所居住环境的社区状况,阅读材料展现了本单元的重点词汇,语法,功能项目,内容丰富,便于帮助学生掌握和巩固本单元所学知识。学生情况分析:七年级的学生对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲旺盛,他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语, 减少他们的恐惧感, 通过学生间的合作学习, 降低他们的学习难度, 使他们体验到成功的喜悦。提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
3.教学目标(含知识目标、技能目标、情感目标)
1.知识目标:识记和巩固词汇与表达:neighborhood, spend, monkey, climb, road, often, air, sunshine, free, enjoy, easily, money, spend time, enjoy reading2.技能目标:通过小组活动的分段学习,了解关于所居住社区环境的状况,通过教师阅读技能的逐层渗透和分段任务的设置,让学生能够逐步的获取有效信息和抓文本结构,体现从语言输入到语言的逐步输出。3.情感目标: 通过让学生学会如何得体地运用英语向被人问路和指路,引导学生学会在真实的情境中帮助他人的良好品质。同时引导学生爱自己的小区,爱陵水,爱海南,爱国家。

教学重点:There be句型询问和描述事物所在位置。教学难点:如何正确描述社区周围设施的地理位置。
