当宾语是由句子来充当,就是宾语从句,整个句子是含有宾语从句的主从复合句。
宾语从句三要素:连接词;语序;时态
1.连接词:
1)肯定句用that 无汉语意思,可省略。
2)特殊疑问句用疑问词
3)一般疑问句用if或whether(是否)
2.语序:宾语从句一律用陈述句语序
3.时态:现在任何;过去过去
?主句是现在时,从句根据自己的情况选择时态,不受主句影响;主句过去时,从句要变成相应的过去时。
注意:如果宾语从句所表示的是客观事实、普遍真理、自然现象或习惯性动作等,不管主句用什么时态,从句时态都用一般现在时。如:
The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun.老师说地球绕着太阳转。

【重点语法】 宾语从句
一、引导词
1.由陈述句变来的宾语从句,用连词 that 等引导,并且在口语中常常省略此词.
Eg. I know ( that ) Lucy can play football very well .
2.由一般疑问句转换而来的宾语从句,用 whether 或 if 引导,并且两词可以互用。但是 whether 可以和 or not 连用,而 if 不能。 Eg. Please tell me whether you can come or not .
3.由特殊疑问句变来的宾语从句,由特殊疑问词 who , whom ,whose ,which , when , where , why , how 等引导 。Eg. Do you know where our English teacher lives ?
若由一般疑问句或特殊疑问句变为宾语从句,当助动词是 do,does 或 did 时,要去掉助动词,并把动词恢复为第三人称单数形式或过去式;当是其它的助动词时,则要把这些助动词放在主语的后面。Eg.I want to know …Does she still live there ?
→ I want to know whether ( if ) she still lives there .
三、时态
1.当主句是一般现在时,宾语从句的时态不作限制,我们可以根据句子的意思来使用需要的任何一种时态。 Eg. I hear ( that ) Tom has been to Guilin twice .
2.当主句是一般过去时的时候,宾语从句必须运用相应的过去的某一种时态,从而达到主句和从句的相互一致。Eg. He said ( that ) he was ill yesterday .
3.当宾语从句说明的是客观存在的事实或者是客观存在的真理时,就不用受到主句时态的限制,仍是用一般现在时态。Eg.Our physics teacher says/ said that the speed of light is faster than sound .

四、宾语从句中的特殊情形
1.特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句可改写成特殊疑问词后跟动词不定式的句子.
Eg. (1)I didn’t know where I should go.?=I didn’t know where to go.
(2)Can you tell me how I can get to the bookshop?= Can you tell me how to get to the bookshop??
2.若原句是祈使句,不能用宾语从句改写,而应该用 “ ask/tell sb. (not) to do sth. ” 的句式。
Eg.Don’t open the door .(用 they ask作主语变为宾语从句)→ They ask not to open the door.
3.宾语从句的否定转移。若主句谓语动词是 think , expect , believe , guess , imagine , suppose 等表示“认为,猜想”的词时,一般要把宾语从句中的否定式转移到主句中。
Eg.I think it’s going to rain .(否定句) →I don’t think it’s going to rain .

Our School Sports Meet
