The topic of this module is about asking for and giving directions. 本模块的主要教学内容是学习“问路与之路”的各种表达方式, 并能通过阅读地图表述路线及具体位置。本模块的听说读写等活动都围绕问路、指路、地点和方位等展开,给学生提供体验和运用语言的机会。 Unit1是听说课,主要是学习问路和指路的表达,通过学习能让学生听懂关于这个话题的小对话,并能用英语表达如何问路与指路。地点及方位介词之前学过不少,所以在warming up 部分可以带学生一起回顾下,并同时引出新的地点bank, restaurant, museum, underground station, Beijing National Stadium , The Olympic Sports Centre 及方位介词opposite. Across 和 cross 的用法是个难点, 需要在运用中帮助学生区别。 本模块突出语言的实际运用,及语言的工具性作用, 同时培养学生良好的情感态度,礼貌文明用语,助人为乐的精神。

生活中学生也有问路指路的经历,这是学生学习本语言的生活基础,如何用英语来表达,学生应该存有极大兴趣的,如何把这种兴趣激发出来,在表达中学生会遇到困难,如何给学生疏通道路,减轻胆怯的心理,让其自信的表达也是在教学中值得重视的。
