教学建议中提到:教学活动应有助于学生学会用英语做事情,特别是用英语获取、处理和传递信息,表达简单的个人观点和感受,从而提升实际语言运用的能力。”
本节课最突出的地方是利用课件图片资料引出购物的相关信息,学生通过不同层次的听、说训练以及口、笔头训练,感知购物的相关信息意义,并感知和对比How much和 How many, unit price ,total,cost, get back等在购物时的合理使用,整个过程以学生活动为主,课件的运用起到引领的作用。

教学内容:《Lesson 7 Shopping for Food》是北京市义务教育教科书英语学科七年级下册第三单元《Food and Drink》中第一节内容,本课属于第一课时,在本单元的Getting Ready中,学习了15个有关食物和饮料的名词。这一课在教材中具有扩展和实际应用的作用,为师友自主探究、师友互助释疑活动提供了空间。

Pre-listening
1. Ask the Ss to have a brain storm about food then share in class.
2. Teach the key words about Price by pictures and drills on the screen:change,cent(¢),bill, yuan(¥) , pounds (£), dollars ($).
Drills like this:
-- How much is / are the … ?
-- It’s / They are ¢/¥ / £ / $ … .
Then ask them to practice in pairs and show in class.
3. The same ways with the key words about Weights.
4. The same ways with Unit Price, total and then practise with Unit Price, total by making dialogues.

While-listening
1. Ask them to do a prediction about the 6 blanks in the listening.
2. Ask them to listen to Dialogue 1 and complete Receipt 1.
3. Ask some students to share their answers in class and check.
4.Make a drill about Receipt 1 with a student like this:
Customer: How much are tomatoes?
Seller: They are ¥ 7.60 / kg.
How many do you want?
Customer: I’ll take 6 . What’s the total cost?
Seller: That’s ¥8.74 .
Then ask them to practice in pairs and ask two pairs show in class.
5. The same steps with Dialogues 2、 3 and the Receipts 2、3.
6. Ask one student who has prepared food for shopping to be the seller and tell them I am the customer, make a dialogue like this:
Customer: How much are / is …?
Seller: They are / It is … / kg / lb. How many do you want?
Customer: I’ll take…
What’s the total cost?
Seller: That’s …
7.Tell the students: your classmates and you are shopping for food for the picnic, try to make a drill.
8. Ask about two pairs to show the drills in front of the class.

通过听,获取到有用的信息,为完成口头对话训练进行铺垫。
通过两人一组的听、说活动,使学生获取有关购物的有用信息,为巩固本节课重点做铺垫。

Post-listening
1. Play the tape and ask them to read the 3 dialogues loudly on P110.
2. Ask one pairs to read in class.
3. Ask the students to make a summary in pairs and then ask one of them to show.
4. Tell them: when we do some shopping, we should be polite !
5.Homework.
(1). Read the 3 dialogues loudly on P110.
(2).Copy and recite the words of this lesson.
(3).Make a dialogue about shopping , at least 7 sentences.
(4)《Exercise Book》: P28.
1. Listen to the tape and read the 3 dialogues loudly on P110.
2. One pair reads in class.

3. Make a summary in pairs, then one of them show.
4. Remember the good habit.
5.Homework.
