The Statue of Zeus
The Statue of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, was located on the west coast of Greece at Olympia. It was crafted around 435 BC to honor the greatest Greek god and the father of the Olympic Games.Unfortunately, the statue no longer exists. It is widely believed to have been destroyed by a severe fire in 462 AD.

The city of Pompeii
Pompeii, located a few miles south of Mount Vesuvius, was founded in the 8th century BC. It was unexpectedly buried by the thick layer of ash and lava from the eruption of Vesuvius in August AD 79. The remains of the city provide the people today with information on the art, customs, trades and daily life of the past, and become a popular tourist attraction of Italy.

The Taj Mahal
Standing on the banks of India's most sacred river, River Yamuna, the Taj Mahal was built by shah Jahan, for his beloved wife as a monument of eternal love. It took 17 years to finish the construction work (1631-1648). The name "Taj Mahal" was derived from the name of his wife, and means "Crown Palace".

The Potala Palace
Potala Palace, regarded as landmark and the symbol of Tibet, is the highest palace in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The main buildings of Potala Palace are situated on the Red Hill by the side of Lhasa River.It has been used as the residence of the Dalai Lamas since the 7th century, as well as the religious and political centre of old Tibet.
