Show some fruit picture to the Ss to ask :What can you see in the picture?Ss answer .
Danny and his classmates want to go to the supermarket.What do they want to buy?New word:supermarket.
Show the picture of apple to Ss
Ask the pupils to listen to the sound and follow. Talk about the apple: look at the apples. It’s red. Its round. It’s sweet. Ask how many apples? Answer: five apples. Make the dialogue:
Kitty:Apples,please.
Assistant:How many apples?
Kitty:Four apples
Assistant:Here you are .
Kitty:Thank you.
Role-play:pair work.(S1 as assistant ,S2 as Kitty)
Use the same way to teach the other words: pear. Peach, orange. Use the chant and song to practice the words, ask how many…? To practice the sentences.
a. How many oranges? Six oranges. (Group 3, 4 ask, Group 1, 2 answer.)
b. Read a rhyme :

c. Sing together:
1.Ask and answer: how many…? Let the pupils practice in pairs. Check some pairs
2.Memory game:ask Ss to answer.
