Step1: Pre-reading activities
1. Review: a game of driving a train
Have the students ask and answer one by one as quickly as possible.

3. Warming up and leading in
T: Boys and girls, we like different animals. For example, I love elephants. But because there are many reasons, and they are in danger now. Do you know what animals are in great danger in China? Can you tell me? Have the students discuss and then report. If necessary, you can speak Chinese.

Pandas are one of the symbols of China. They are a national treasure of China. They are white and black. They look fat and funny. They can eat bamboo and climb the trees. Mary people like them very much. There were many pandas in China years ago. Because people cut down many trees and kill them. So pandas became less. And now panda are in great danger. There are about 1600 pandas are in the wild and about 333pandas are in the zoo. So we don’t cut down the trees or kill them. We can let them live in the wild again.
