Step 1 Lead in
1. 向学生展示钟表的图片，询问钟表显示的时间是几点。询问学生在钟表显示的时间点他们通常做什么事情。
2. 向学生展示教师自己的时间安排表，教师向学生描述自己几点钟做什么事情。在屏幕上呈现一些句型，如：I get up at…/ I go to school at…/ I finish school at…/ I go to bed at…让学生根据这些句型描述自己的日常时间安排。
3. 告诉学生我们将认识一个新朋友Sam, 让我们一起了解他在学校一天的时间安排，从而引入本课主题: A day at school。
Step 2 Pre-reading：Prediction.
预测主阅读篇章的大致内容。
1. 呈现教材第 17 页上的标题和 3 幅图片，让学生尝试预测 Sam 的校园生活情况。学生完成 Before you read B1 的练习，认读和理解单词article。
2. 学生阅读主阅读篇章每一段的首句，完成 Before you read B2 的问题。认读和理解单词 so 和短语 junior high school，on foot， have a good time 等。
Step 3 While-reading
运用略读、找读等阅读策略，进一步理解主阅读篇章。
