Step 1 Lead in
1. 向学生展示钟表的图片,询问钟表显示的时间是几点。询问学生在钟表显示的时间点他们通常做什么事情。
2. 向学生展示教师自己的时间安排表,教师向学生描述自己几点钟做什么事情。在屏幕上呈现一些句型,如:I get up at…/ I go to school at…/ I finish school at…/ I go to bed at…让学生根据这些句型描述自己的日常时间安排。
3. 告诉学生我们将认识一个新朋友Sam, 让我们一起了解他在学校一天的时间安排,从而引入本课主题: A day at school。
Step 2 Pre-reading:Prediction.
预测主阅读篇章的大致内容。
1. 呈现教材第 17 页上的标题和 3 幅图片,让学生尝试预测 Sam 的校园生活情况。学生完成 Before you read B1 的练习,认读和理解单词article。
2. 学生阅读主阅读篇章每一段的首句,完成 Before you read B2 的问题。认读和理解单词 so 和短语 junior high school,on foot, have a good time 等。
Step 3 While-reading
运用略读、找读等阅读策略,进一步理解主阅读篇章。
1. 学生快速略读,独立完成 Comprehension D1 的练习。认读和理解单词Geography,band,practice 和短语 take part in 等。
2. 鼓励学生细读文本,运用根据上下文猜测生词的策略,完成 Vocabulary C1 的近义词选择练习。学生认读和理解单词 seldom,break,bell,ring,end,together 等。
3. 学生完成 Vocabulary C2 的练习。
